This Watch We have here a stunning Omega Seamaster 14770 from 1961 with an aged patina original off white dial! The dial has an even patina with very unusual chamfered, applied, singular baton markers and steel, sword hour and minute hands and a tapered central seconds hands. At 12 o'clock, there are longer bold a baton markers at 6 9 & 12 as with most very early production seamasters in this range. The dial is signed 'Omega, Automatic' with the famous Omega logo. At 6 o'clock, the dial is signed 'Seamaster' There is a beautiful symmetry to this watch and it screams elegant, 1960s design. The 34mm, round, stainless steel, monocoque front loading case makes for a very comfortable wear for both him and her and is complete with Omega's famous Seamaster hippocampus, first introduced in 1958. Inside is the automatic Omega caliber 562, fully serviced by us and running strongly. The watch is paired on a tan suede high quality leather strap , but it looks great on black or blue too.
